Visit Roswell
Visit Roswell is the destination's convention and visitors bureau. Often referred to as a destination marketing organization (DMO), our organization incorporates targeted advertising and marketing programs with aggressive sales and public relations efforts to build the image of Roswell as a travel destination and increase visitation to our city.
Our organization is funded 100% by the lodging tax. As with most other communities, when our guests stay in our hotels, they're assessed an additional 8% tax on their room rate. A portion of that percentage is what funds Visit Roswell. With those funds, our organization markets Roswell through various print and advertising campaigns, familiarization tours for travel writers and meeting planners, film production hosting and recruitment, industry association sponsorships, website marketing, search engine optimization and search engine marketing, special promotions, trade show attendance, and lead generation activities.
In short, our team's primary mission is to promote all of Roswell's amazing tourism assets - from our strip of the Chattahoochee River and our 19 parks, to our beautiful historic homes, mouth-watering restaurant scene, craft breweries and 1,200+ hotel rooms. We want tourists to experience what we get to live.
