Enjoy wildlife programs, hiking, environmental education, horticulture and check out the summer concerts that occur in this natural setting! Here are some fun events for adults and children alike!
Butterfly Encounter
Get up close and personal with hundreds of native butterflies surrounded by colorful nectar plants. Photo opportunities abound so be sure to have your camera ready. This special outdoor exhibit is open daily until 4:30 p.m. from now until July 31. The Butterfly Encounter is included with general admission and free to CNC members, and perfect for the whole family!
Story Time by the River
Storytellers encourage audience participation by acting out storybook characters. With nature crafts, stories, songs and audience participation, the best nature stories will come alive! Story Time by the River is every Wednesday from 10:30 a.m.- 11:30 a.m. and is included with general admission and free to CNC members.
Chattahoochee River Canoe Trips
Did you know it is 10 degrees cooler on the water? Come take a leisurely evening paddle with experienced canoe guides while learning about the Chattahoochee River! Great for all ages, this river trip can be your first time paddle or a relaxing way to reconnect with the river. All equipment is provided. Paddles are from 6:00 p.m.- 9:00 p.m. and run from now until August 27. Cost is $30 per person or $25 for CNC members. Visit the online registration center here.
