Beginners will benefit from Craig’s knowledgeable and steady guidance. More experienced artists will further develop their style and technique. Paint from a still life or carefully selected photograph in the medium of your choice. Basic techniques, composition, color mixing, and glazing are emphasized. Participants should plan on spending at least $100 on supplies to get started. Please bring to class: Paints in acrylics or oils in the following colors: titanium white, burnt umber, cadmium orange, cobalt blue, cadmium red, cerulean blue, cadmium yellow. Also bring 20x16 canvas or canvas board, turpenoid,rags, and brushes, student choice of size, 1 flat and 1 pointe.
